During my own weight loss journey, which involved losing 30kg over 18 months, I discovered a passion for nutrition and a desire to help others.

My personal experiences and the hurdles I have overcome have given me a unique perspective on nutritional coaching. I take a practical, balanced and empathetic approach to dieting rooted in science-based evidence.

How long will it take to see results?

Generally, individuals following a weight loss nutrition plan can expect to lose 1 to 2 pounds per week, resulting in an average weight loss of 1 to 2 stones over 14 weeks.

Someone on a muscle-building nutritional plan may expect to gain about 1 to 2 pounds per month.

How does it work?

When it comes to the Laws of Thermodynamics, the idea is simple: if you eat fewer calories than your body burns, youโ€™ll start to shed those extra pounds.

If you consume more energy than your body requires, it will store the excess as fat or use it to build muscle tissue.

This is known as your body’s Energy Balance (calorie expenditure vs. intake), and is the cornerstone of all diets!

The only way to lose unwanted body fat is to be in a calorie deficit.

As a nutritional coach I practice what I preach. I have trailed and tested the laws of Thermodynamics on myself, allowing me to lose 30kg by maintaining a calorie deficit.

How will your diet change?

We don’t believe in rigid and restrictive meal plans, as they can be counterproductive and unsustainable. Instead, we focus on reworking and improving your existing diet.

  • Step 1 – Understanding you

    In our first consultation meeting, we will discuss your unique circumstances, daily schedule, food preferences, eating habits and activity levels.

    We will collaboratively establish your goals, milestones and strategies for success

  • Step 2 – Analysing your nutrition

    We’ll explore how many calories you’re eating and drinking compared to the calories your body is burning.

    We’ll also check out the nutritional quality of your diet, to see if any vitamins or minerals you might be missing.

  • Step 3 – Making smart changes

    We will agree on a few smart ingredient swaps and discuss practicing portion control. For most people, this will be enough to create a calorie deficit and start the weight loss journey.

  • Step 4 – Keep the momentum going

    In a month or so, you’ll start noticing some changes in your weight! You will also get into the swing of tracking your food intake and thinking more about the nutritional quality of your meals and drinks.

  • Step 5 – Change your perspective

    Once you are ready, we will enhance your diet further, focusing on improving its nutritional quality and adjusting their calorie intake based on your goals.  We will continue this process until you feel confident, knowledgeable and motivated enough to no longer require my services.
